Ownership & Management

In 2009 Deborah Meaden, the successful business woman best known for her appearances on the BBC programme 'Dragons' Den', and her long standing friend and textile expert, Douglas Cordeaux, took ownership of the business. To ensure that Fox Brothers delivers excellence in customer service, as well as the very finest cloth, their first priority was to put a strengthened management team in place, headed by Douglas Cordeaux, Managing Director.

From initial customer contact, through design and sample production, to the final cloth run, Fox Brothers will ensure you get the fabric that you require. In addition to a capable and respected management team, the company also boasts a highly skilled and knowledgeable workforce. Many of the existing employees having followed their fathers and grandfathers into the company; one employee is the fourth generation to work for Fox Brothers. An apprenticeship scheme is being introduced to ensure that the traditional skills required for the making of fine woollen cloth, are passed down to the next generation.

Under Deborah and Douglas' stewardship, the company remains committed to supplying the very finest woollen cloth, entirely made in England, to the world's most discerning clients.
